During his school days at St. Karen&#;s in Patna, one of Nishant&#;s teachers once hit him badly, resulting in a severe lump on his forehead and a fever. Upon hearing the news, Nitish Kumar became very upset and had Nishant&#;s name removed from the school.

Later, Nishant Kumar was sent to a boarding school named Manava Bharati India International School in Mussoorie.
