Biography of James Wolfe
James Wolfe, the eldest son of retired officer Edward Wolfe and Henrietta Thompson, was born in 1727 in Westerham, Kent, England.
From a young age, James was fascinated by his father's stories and dreamed of a military career. At the age of 13, he was enlisted in the 1st Marine Regiment, where his father also served.
